Jan 31,  · Hi, I had a losing streak and I need to lower my bet spread and I need your help Assuming that I play a 6-deck with house edge, counting with hi-low (or KO) and using 16 index plays, what is the minimum bet spread that is required to beat the game, even slightly? Also assume that after one deck is dealt, I do not play negative counts and can wong-in back in positive counts all the time My. Betting Spread Card counters operate under the (correct) assumption that even perfect blackjack strategy is a losing proposition. That’s because basic strategy gives no indication of .

## The Knockout Card Counting System Explained

It will be easier for most people because, unlike KO, it has only one index value for all indexes and the same indexes and value for double deck and six decks. The reKO Blackjack Strategy So the Knockout System is ideal for novices and beginners, but experts who want to take it to the next level will probably want to start experimenting with some of the more involved systems like the Omega II or the Hi Opt I counts. You have to take into account how many decks are in use. Single Deck The fourth chart is for single deck, H Another way of looking at it is using two basic strategies. However, that goes against the one index theme of REKO.

•   All casinos are built on the principle of the most tangled labyrinths. In the gaming halls there are no direct passages. Because the longer a person walks along the aisles, the more likely that he will play in the meeting slot machines and gambling.
•  The center of the casino is Las Vegas. Every year 40 million gambling people from all over the world come here.

The KO Count is one of my favorite blackjack card counting systems. The KO Count works in a similar manner to all other card counting systems. Instead, it uses a heuristic system to estimate the proportion of high cards to low cards left in the deck. One hand in blackjack results in a higher payout than any other hand. Only 2 values of cards can combine to form such a hand. One of those is the ace, and the other is then cards with a value of If you removed all of the aces from the deck, your chances of getting dealt a natural would become 0, right?

And when you ARE dealt a natural, you get paid off at 3 to 2. All the aces and 10s count as The higher the count, the more you bet. In most card counting systems, a player has to convert the running count into a true count in order to adjust for the additional decks in play.

The effect of each individual card is diluted by the large number of decks in the shoe. The conversion from the running count to the true count requires some division and some estimating. The formula is simple enough—you just divide the count by the number of decks you estimate are left in the shoe.

In the KO system, you can skip the division. Your starting count in the KO system is determined by the number of decks in the shoe. With 6 decks, you start your count at , and with 8 decks, you start your count at A common betting spread is 1 to 5 units. The Knockout Blackjack system was designed to be easy to use and effective at the same time.

### Details

It will be easier for most people because, unlike KO, it has only one index value for all indexes and the same indexes and value for double deck and six decks. Thus less memorization is required. Flashcards are often used to memorize indexes. I have also included simplified betting ramps. This strategy performs nearly identically to KO. Note: This is a very brief description designed for those that already understand card counting. There is a much fuller description in my free, online book Modern Blackjack.

Another way of looking at it is using two basic strategies. These tables are bets for each running count. You need to decide your own unit size and maximum bet and level off your betting at that point.

A full description can be found in Blackjack Attack by Don Schlesinger. For fairness, all SCOREs were calculated using optimal betting ramps calculated for each penetration assuming a betting spread of 1 to 16 for six decks, 1 to 8 for two decks and 1 to 3for single deck. Each simulation is five billion rounds with four players at six decks and three players at double deck and single deck. Note: The raw data behind these charts as well as calculated percentages can be found at reKO Blackjack Tables.

The performance of KO and reKO in this chart are so close that the red line is almost exactly on top of the green line. You can see a hint of the green line just above the red line at poorer penetrations.

Again the performance of KO and reKO in this chart are so close that the red line is almost exactly on top of the green line. KO does better at extermely high and low penetrations. Note: The indexes were improved since this chart was created and REKO now has better results at higher penetrations.

## Blackjack phone not ringing

I purchased a brand new '08 L, and I have had it for a month. The car is great, however during the past week, I have continual problems with my bluetooth phone. The phone is a Samsung Blackjack, and the service is Cingular, however every time I get in the car now, I am prompted on my phone to "Connect with Lexus?

Yesterday, I was on the phone with my wife over Bluetooth and the Lexus Link started ringing while I was on another call. The lady came over the speaker and asked how she could help me and I told her I didn't call her, she had called me! She apologized, hung up, and then of course, the bluetooth went out, and I had to talk to my wife on my actual cell-phone.
